I just finished The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. What a sad story, but so beautifully told. I also read a fun graphic novel, Cat Burglar Black by Richard Sala. I really liked it, but will K. ever figure out who's behind the voice in the statue? I'm looking for a sequel.
I've started Vampire High by Douglas Rees. It doesn't sound like this is a good place to go to school!! Yikes!
I enjoyed The Lovely Bones, too. The book was so much better than the movie! May I suggest Devil in the White City as another read in your goal of 100? It is nonfiction about the architect of the Chicago World Fair and a serial murderer. Fantastic! A finalist for the National Book Award...

I loved Devil in the White City! I also really enjoyed Eric Larson's other book, Thunderstruck about the invention of the telegraph and the Crippen murder story in London. Truth is definitely stranger than fiction!
